Abstract:
In the present work, graphene oxide (GO) was prepared by hummers method from natural graphite. The structural order and textural properties of the graphene based materials were studied by TEM, XRD, TG-DTA and FT-IR. The adsorption of amoxicillin on GO and magnetite GO with different variable such as: contact time, adsorbent dosage, initial concentration, pH and temperature was investigated. The kinetic studies showed that the adsorption data followed a pseudo second-order kinetic model. The isotherm analysis indicated that the adsorption data can be represented by Langmuir isotherm model.
