Abstract:
The present paper shows some of the research results of a Francophone Universitary Agency financed project. One of the research objectives was to establish the heavy metal soil contamination degree and the results clearly highlight a high level of heavy
metal accumulation for the area under research. Modern research methods were used, namely spectrometric and stripping methods.
