Abstract:
An expanded graphite-carbon nanofiber-epoxy composite (EG-CNF-Epoxy) was investigated in order to its use for the electrochemical determination of 2,4-dinitrophenol (2,4-DNP) in aqueous solutions. The electrochemical behavior of the electrode in the presence of target pollutant was investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometry (CA), and multiple-pulsed amperometry (MPA). Because of the electrode fouling during the electrochemical oxidation, this electrode can be applied for the electrochemical determination only under ceratin conditions given by MPA technique.
